RTV Industrial and Construction Silicone ($6.95 per tube)

RTV408 Silicone is a neutral cure, medium modulus silicone sealant that cures to a tough, flexible rubber when exposed to moisture. CRL RTV408 features primerless adhesion to: aluminum, stainless steel, chromium, tin, iron, plastics, rigid PVC, vinyl, phenolic resin, glass, ceramic and most reflective-coated glasses. Its fast cure time and easy tooling make it ideal for many in-house production applications. It is non-corrosive to most building materials such as glass (including insulating glass), tiles, and sanitary equipment. It is also used in vehicles, ships, aircraft, as well as for electrical insulation. CRL RTV408 does not cause corrosion in contact with metals. It is suitable for alkaline materials such as mortar and cement, and other applications where metal corrosion could be a problem. CRL RTV408 stays flexible and is resistant to cracking or becoming brittle in a wide range of temperatures approximately -65 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (-54 to 204 degrees Celsius). It can be applied at outdoor temperatures as low as -20°F (-29°C), provided that surfaces are clean, dry and frost-free or on surfaces as high as 100°F (38°C).

GE® 1200 Construction Silicone Sealant - 10.3 Fluid Ounce Cartridges ($8.95 per tube)

GE® 1200 is a one-part building and glazing acetic cure silicone sealant that cures to a tough, flexible rubber through the moisture cure process. GE® 1200 Silicone Sealant is used to seal building joints to prevent the penetration of rain, air and noise. It effectively weatherproofs junctions of building materials and can also be used for sealing curtainwall, mullion and other building construction joints, and for glazing steel and aluminum windows, painted and plastic coated wood windows, interior glass partitions and skylights. Permanent watertight bonds are made with this sealant, in combination with glass, ceramic, steel, plastics, and painted surfaces. In addition, many maintenance applications are possible where long life, reliability and sealing properties are required.

Smooth Polyurethane Construction Sealant ($5.95 per tube)

Polyurethane is a high performance, low modulus, one-component, moisture curing modified polyurethane sealant. It has a smooth, even consistency and surface when cured. M64 requires no priming for common substrates such as brick, concrete, aluminum, vinyl, wood and granite. It applies with any standard cartridge caulking gun to clean, dry surfaces. M64 was specifically developed for sealing dynamically moving joints, such as: expansion and control joints, precast concrete panel joints, curtainwall joints, perimeter caulking (masonry, windows, doors, panels), bedding of mullions, panels and frames. It is compatible with I.G. sealants when glazing units and applied as a toe or heel bead. M64 exhibits tenacious adhesion which will not dissipate with time. This unique weather-resistant formulation possesses a balanced adhesive strength, low modulus and high recovery, making it ideal to withstand the following adverse conditions common to such installations: moisture, movement, shear and deflection. M64 is suitable for continual immersion in water with the use of the appropriate primer. Paintable after full cure, minimum 72 hours.

Loctite Impruv™ Ultraviolet Adhesive ($42.95 eac bottle)

Loctite U.V. Adhesive is a one-part medium viscosity adhesive with an ultraviolet cure system. Tough, durable bonds can be formed with excellent adhesion to glass, metal and some thermoplastics. Ideal for making all glass showcases, glass shelves, furniture, etc. The adhesive cures within seconds upon exposure to U.V. light from a curing lamp to form a transparent bond. This product is cured when exposed to U.V. radiation of 365nm. The speed of cure will depend on the U.V. intensity as measured at the product surface, as well as the coating depth. UV349 has an outstanding ability to cure through large gaps and to cure to a hard, dry surface that is water clear.
